How to get to Gliwice?

  • By car.
    Gliwice is the city located in the south of Poland, in the western part of Silesian province, at the junction of important traffic routes. The A4 motorway runs through Gliwice, and intersects with the A1 motorway here. A three-level grade-separated crossing is located in Sosnica district, in eastern quarter of the city.

  • Railway transport (PKP)
    Find a railway connection – Polish Railways. The nearest station to the place of Congress is "Gliwice".
    From the Railway in Gliwice you can reach our Congress by walk (about 15 minutes) or by taxi.

  • Air transport
    • The nearest international airport Katowice-Pyrzowice is located 50 km away from Gliwice. You need to first go to the centre of Katowice by bus and then to Gliwice by train (PKP). It is also possible to get a taxi from the airport.
    • An airport located further (Kraków-Balice airport) is located 100 km away to Gliwice. You can reach the centre of Cracow by bus, train or taxi and then take the train (PKP) to Gliwice. It is also possible to rent a car at the airport.
    • Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport is located 320 km from Gliwice. The best way is to go to the Central railway station in Warsaw ("Warszawa Centralna") by bus or by taxi. Then take the train to Gliwice (PKP).
